Hoffman Crews Nies Waggener & Foster LLP is proud to report that its Partners, Denise Hoffman White, Kato Crews, and Mychael Dave, delivered a panel presentation to a Legal Ethics and Professionalism Class at the University of Colorado Law School. The class focuses on helping law students develop strong ethical, professional identities through a variety of programming and hands-on opportunities.
The presentation given by Hoffman, Crews, and Dave, centered on their personal and true life examples of how the nuances of race, gender, and implicit bias, affect practicing lawyers and community leaders. They challenged the class to examine these issues beyond the typical “diversity” paradigm as the students give consideration to their future legal careers and leadership endeavors.
