Hoffman Crews Nies Waggener & Foster is thrilled to announce that David Spaulding has joined the firm as a Partner. His addition allows the firm to expand its services to now include the areas of Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation.
David advises clients on matters related to all types of employee benefits, including qualified retirement plans, equity-based compensation arrangements and nonqualified deferred compensation plans. He has garnered comprehensive experience that includes advising clients on Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and tax matters in the context of mergers and acquisitions; design, administration and disclosure matters for domestic and international equity-based compensation plans; and reporting and withholding requirements related to compensation and benefits. Most recently, David was a Partner in the well-respected firm of Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck.
David received his Masters of Law in Taxation from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, his law degree from Tulane University Law School and his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Loyola University in New Orleans. Please join us in welcoming David to our team!
