He has been a partner of Waggener & Foster LLP, now doing business as Hoffman Crews Nies Waggener & Foster LLP, including under its previous name, Cockrell, Quinn & Creighton, since 1985.  For over twenty years his practice involved an extensive amount of litigation and he tried numerous cases in the state and federal courts in Colorado.  He now focuses his practice more generally in the areas of estate planning, probate, transactional, law of higher education, real estate (including ditch company and irrigation law), litigation and general business contracts.
