Ms. Nies represents lenders, borrowers, owners and investors in a variety of real estate, business and loan transactions. She regularly negotiates purchases and sales of commercial, industrial and high-end residential properties. She counsels tenants and landlords in the preparation, review and negotiation of industrial, retail and office leases, as well as build-to-suit transactions. Ms. Nies represents lenders and borrowers in connection with commercial and consumer loan transactions, as well as credit workouts including loan modifications, deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure, foreclosures, receiverships and similar actions.
Ms. Nies also has substantial experience providing legal representation and advice to a wide range of business clients, including privately held businesses, family held businesses, owners, officers, directors, managers and others involved with business transactions.  She serves as a steadfast advocate and guides her clients through business and corporate transactions, including entity formation, corporate structuring and governance, business management, contract and contract disputes, mergers and acquisitions/dispositions.  Ms. Nies strives to achieve her clients’ goals with perspective and insight based on her years of experience.
